Washington Community Y Indoor Aquatics Facility

The new Aquatic Center opening December 2024 features a 6-lane lap
pool, a family recreation pool with water features, saunas, and a hot tub.

Zero depth entry, two diving boards, two yellow slides that dump in 10 feet deep area, tall slide, and other water features. Two of the water features-a sprayer and bucket dumper are always a great hit. Two locker rooms and concession area. There is plenty of deck space with 3 different types of chairs–lounge chairs, regular chairs, and “beach” chairs that are shorter and can be used in the shallow water. There are grassy areas for towels, etc. on both sides of the pool behind the rows of chairs. All programs/services provided are non-refundable.

Ginny will be having swim classes every Tuesday and Thursday 11-11:45am at the Washington Outdoor Pool. $3 is due at the admissions gate for class” also “Lap swim is offered daily from 12-1pm

Lifeguard Certification Courses

Offered throughout the year at the Indoor Aquatic Facility. Check back for registration information.

Class Attendance:

  • Classes are available for members and non-members

  • Participants for Adult Fitness Classes Must Be: 16 years or older to register
  • Ages 13 – 15 must be registered by parent/legal guardian & attend each class with the youth
  • Drop in Attendance is allowed if there is room. Please inquire at the membership desk.
  • If you are 5 minutes or more late for your registered class, that is limited due to equipment and space, your spot will be open for anyone that wants to attend class.

Class Cancellation: Classes can be CANCELLED for the following reasons:

  • Weather related cancellations (severe heat, snow, severe weather).
  • No instructor due to illness or injury
  • Low Numbers on a consistent basis; this will be re-evaluated on a quarterly basis whether or not a class can be offered.
