The moves you might see in any water aerobics class. Jogging, jumping jacks, cross country skis, pendulums, hopscotch, frog jumps, mogul jumps, traveling and treading—just to name a few. The moves are sometimes done with weights, noodles and kick boards to enhance the workout. Best of all, there’s music, which makes the class fun. The participants love it and the time flies by so quickly.
AQUAROBICS I
This 45-minute class is for the beginning exerciser who likes water and is looking for the additional resistance of water. INTERMEDIATE
WATER WALKING
in water that’s about waist-high, walk across the pool swinging your arms as you do when walking on land. Avoid walking on your tiptoes and keep your back straight. Tighten your abdominal muscles to avoid leaning too far forward or to the side.
AQUAROBICS II
Our most advanced Aqua size class assured to challenge your fitness level. ADVANCED
Tabata Freestyle
same format as the AQUA TABATA with a medium intensity that is self-lead.
JOINT EFFORT
Water is a safe, ideal environment for relieving Arthritis pain and stiffness. Plus, it is fun! The Arthritis Foundation recommends water exercise especially for people with arthritis, because it allows you to exercise without putting excess strain on your joints and muscles.
AQUA TABATA
An intense workout that’s easy on the joints. HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL Tabata training is one of the most popular forms of high-intensity interval training. Eight rounds of high-intensity exercise are performed in a specific “20 seconds on, 10 seconds off” circuit interval. Mixing this format with properties of water through a variety of simple, yet intense exercises, allows each class to blast away the calories and provide noticeable results in a short amount of time.
